An organized open mic + creative showcase experience hosted by Big Budah.

What It Is

SoulFLO is a curated Sunday-night creative platform for singers, poets, musicians, painters, dancers, comedians, spoken word artists, producers, creators, and culture-builders.

What You'll Experience

Cocktail hour, Budah's Lounge live interviews, live art, featured artists, open mic performances, food for purchase, beverages, creative networking, and a respectful audience culture.

AGT-style competition

The FLO Factor

An AGT-style finalist moment built into every SoulFLO Sunday. Participation, professionalism, promotion, and punctuality all count toward spotlight opportunities — and a shot at the year-end FLO Factor Finale.

Important content notice

SoulFLO welcomes all genres. Some performances may include mature language, adult themes, or explicit lyrics. Family-centered shows will be clearly marked as KidzFLO.

Performer deadline

Artists must sign up, confirm attendance, submit music, and submit promo materials two weeks before their performance date.

Tag requirement

Artists must tag @thesoulflo_ in daily promo posts to earn participation points.

Rules of Engagement

SoulFLO is a safe, organized, and respectful creative space built for artists, creators, and audiences to experience original expression.

  1. 1Respect the artist on stage. No booing, heckling, talking over performers, or disruptive behavior.
  2. 2Every artist deserves to be received with attention, applause, and dignity.
  3. 3Performers must sign up at least two weeks in advance, confirm attendance, submit performance music, and provide any special stage needs.
  4. 4All artists must arrive on time and check in before their performance block.
  5. 5Each performer will receive a specific time slot. Running over time may affect future booking priority.
  6. 6All genres are welcome, including music, poetry, dance, comedy, visual art, storytelling, and creative performance.
  7. 7Mature content must be disclosed in advance. Performances with profanity, adult themes, or explicit lyrics may be placed later in the evening and announced with a content notice.
  8. 8KidzFLO events are family-centered. Explicit content is not permitted during KidzFLO.
  9. 9Artists are expected to promote their appearance daily leading up to the show and tag @thesoulflo_.
  10. 10Participation, professionalism, audience engagement, promotion, and punctuality may count toward The FLO Factor spotlight opportunities.
  11. 11No hate speech, threats, harassment, bullying, or disrespect toward any person or group.
  12. 12SoulFLO is a listening room, a creative room, and a community room. Come ready to give love, receive art, and build culture.
